For a college class introduction project, I drew a cartoon map of my life to describe who I am. I took it too far... apropos of who I am.

Intro

I'm a digital marketer and creative producer passionate about storytelling and creative problem-solving. In my professional experience, I've worked with brands in e-commerce, startups, and non-profits helping to scale digital growth. I value creativity, adaptability, and bringing an empathetic and team-oriented approach to my work.

My Journey

I’ve always been a storyteller at heart. Growing up, I’d create cartoons and draw new characters throughout the classes that put me to sleep. When I first saw the creative possibilities of Gen-AI, I almost instantly became obsessed. Since then, I’ve produced numerous short films and worked on diverse client projects, while continuously building my skillset in AI video production.

Combining my marketing background with expertise in Gen-AI, I developed an AI in Marketing course for LearnPrompting.org, helping marketers integrate AI into their business workflows. Recently, I led the digital marketing effort for a First Responders Suicide Prevention Conference in Philadelphia (Home | First Responder Suicide Prevention Symposium (frsphiladelphia.org)). It was rewarding to see the communal impact of the event, with 300 first responders attending.

Previously, I worked at Flywheel Digital. There, I had the opportunity to work with some of the biggest CPG brands in the world and help grow their e-commerce businesses. I won a company award for intellectual curiosity, largely as a result of leaning into one of Amazon’s newest cloud-based advertising products. Although it was a great learning experience, I left the position to travel and pursue other career interests long term.

Education

I majored in marketing and information systems at the University of Maryland while a member of the strategic design fellows’ program, a program for creative minds in the business. My team won ad campaign awards in both semesters, including a MAXI state case competition (Smith Team Wins ‘Big’ in Case Competition | Smith School (umd.edu)). In school, I also I interned for Vitalize Venture Capital, a future of work and learning VC firm, where I helped grow their podcast and digital channels through content marketing.

At UMD, I co-founded Memento Digital Labs, a blockchain startup enabling brands and creators to launch NFTs. We partnered with Maryland Men’s Basketball players on an NFT collection after NIL laws changed. There, I was an active member of the Startup Shell.

Interests

Outside of prioritizing my family and health, I like to draw, play basketball, read, and watch movies in my free time.
